Unlock your organisation's potential

BlueTree Specific Skills is proud to be recognised as an Investor in People. How can we not be? A company should always practice what it preaches.

What does it mean to those who are not yet part of the IIP programme? To be an IIP company means that your employees not only come to work but also enthuse about being there. It means that management not only manages but is also an active and respected part of the every day business. It means that processes and communications are embraced and utilised to best effect. IIP means is that your business shines brighter than the others. IIP is a way of ensuring a happy and productive workplace and gives companies a frame work within which to grow and achieve great things.

It is all about the people.

Developed in 1990 by a partnership of leading businesses and national organisations, the Standard helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their people. Since it was developed the Standard has been reviewed every three years to ensure that it remains relevant, accessible and attractive to all.

Work should be more fun than fun. Noel Coward

The IIP framework involves:
  • Plan developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation
  • Taking action to improve the performance of the organisation
  • Review & evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation.

The practical benefits of working towards and achieving the Standard are many and include:
  • Improved earnings, productivity and profitability
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Improved motivation
  • Reduced costs and wastage
  • Enhanced quality
  • Competitive advantage through improved performance
  • Public recognition
